That density is exactly why choosing well matters here more than almost anywhere else in Bali: with so many options, it is tempting to just pick the closest one and hope. Canggu's specific mix of surf, sand, sunscreen and coliving turnover means a laundry that is fine for someone else's clothes can quietly ruin yours.

What Canggu specifically does to your laundry

Canggu's laundry load is distinctive, and it is worth knowing why before you choose where to send it.

• Surf wax and sand. Boardshorts, rash guards and towels from Batu Bolong and Echo Beach carry sand into every seam and wax that a cold rinse will not shift.
• Sunscreen at the collar. Reapplied three times a day, it builds up on white t-shirt collars and turns yellow under a hot dryer.

4. Pickup that actually reaches your gate. Confirm they collect from your specific street or coliving, not just "central Canggu". Berawa, Pererenan and Tibubeneng each have their own coverage questions worth asking.
5. A guarantee you can hold them to. If a stain does not come out or an item goes missing, what happens? "We will see" is not an answer.
6. A real turnaround, not "today if we can". If you have a checkout or a flight, ask for a committed delivery time, not a best-effort promise.

• Bags left unlabelled on the floor with no way to tell whose is whose.
