Wash, dry, iron & fold laundry service in Bali

What "full service" means at TRAST

Most laundries in Bali sell one thing: a machine cycle. Your bag goes in, a hot wash runs, a hot dryer runs, and whatever comes out gets folded. That is fine for gym socks. It is not fine for a linen shirt, a favourite dress or the white t-shirts you brought for the holiday.

TRAST sells a process, not a cycle. The price per kilogram covers every step that decides whether your clothes come back the way you like them:

• Inspection. Every item is checked before it goes anywhere near water: pockets, labels, loose buttons, stains that need treatment.
• Sorting. Whites, colours, darks and delicates are washed separately, at the temperature their labels allow.
• Stain removal. Sunscreen, sweat, coffee, red dust and coconut oil are treated by hand before washing, backed by our stain removal guarantee.
• Washing. Organic products only: no chlorine, no phosphates, no optical brighteners, no fragrance, no commercial powders.
• Drying. Tumble dryer or air drying depending on what the fabric wants. This is where most Bali laundries shrink things.
• Steam ironing and folding. Shirts, dresses, trousers and linen come back ready to wear, not just dry.
• Packing and delivery. Your order is packed separately and delivered back to your door within 24 hours.

Every one of those steps is in the 100,000 IDR per kg price. There are no add-ons for ironing, for stain treatment or for delivery.

What people send us

Almost everything you wear in Bali:

• Everyday clothes: t-shirts, shorts, dresses, shirts, jeans, underwear
• Linen and cotton that wrinkles the second you sit down
• Surf and gym clothes: rash guards, bikinis, activewear washed cool so the elastic survives
• Towels and bed linen from villas and long-stay apartments
• Kids' clothes, which somehow collect every stain on the island
• Anything with a "hand wash" or "delicate" label, handled on the delicates process

Shoes go in the same bag and are priced per pair on the shoe cleaning service.

How much laundry is a kilogram?

You do not need a scale, but it helps to know what to expect. A t-shirt weighs around 150–200 g, a pair of shorts about 250 g, a dress 300–500 g and jeans 600–800 g. A typical week for one person, five t-shirts, three shorts, a dress or two, underwear and a couple of towels, lands between 3 and 5 kg. At 100,000 IDR per kg that is 300,000–500,000 IDR with everything included. We wrote a longer breakdown in how much laundry costs in Bali.

We wash even a single t-shirt, but the minimum order is 200,000 IDR, so it makes sense to collect a few days of laundry before booking.

Why whites stay white and colours stay bright

Two things ruin clothes in Bali: mixed loads and heat. When whites are washed with darks, they go grey in one cycle. When cotton is washed hot and dried hot, it shrinks and the colour fades. When strong powders and chlorine are used, fabrics go thin and yellow within a few months.

We avoid all three. Loads are sorted, temperatures follow the label, drying is chosen per fabric, and the products we use are gentle enough for skin and for the fibres. That is why customers write in their reviews that their whites stay white.

Booking and pickup

1. Message us on WhatsApp with your location pin and a pickup time.
2. Leave the bag at your villa gate, hotel reception, coliving desk or hand it to the courier.
3. We collect it, inspect it, and send you a message if anything needs a decision (a stain that may be permanent, a garment that should not be washed).
4. Everything comes back in 24 hours, ironed, folded and packed. You pay after delivery; no prepayment.

The full process is described on the how it works page. Pickup and delivery are free in every part of Bali, from Canggu and Seminyak to Ubud, Sanur and Uluwatu. See pickup and delivery for the details.
