Laundry service in Babakan with free pickup & delivery

What Babakan does to your clothes

Babakan sits north of the main Canggu strip, a network of villa lanes and rice-field edges where the pace is slower and the stays are longer. The laundry problem here is less about sand and more about volume and routine: a household running its own washing, drying and ironing week after week, with the same humidity that makes anything left half-dry in Bali start to smell within a day.

TRAST treats a Babakan order the way a household would want it handled at home: sorted by colour and fabric, stains treated before washing, dried fully rather than "mostly", then ironed and folded. Back within 24 hours, on whatever schedule suits the villa.

How pickup works in Babakan

1. Message us your villa name or a location pin on WhatsApp with a pickup time.
2. Leave the bag at the gate or with staff, no counting or listing needed.
3. We collect by scooter along the Babakan lanes.
4. Everything is back in 24 hours, washed, ironed and folded.

Babakan and the area around it

• The villa lanes of Babakan, north of the main Canggu strip
• Nelayan, just south towards Batu Bolong, see our Nelayan page
• Tibubeneng, the village further north, see our Tibubeneng page
• The rest of Canggu, which Babakan is part of

What Babakan customers usually send

• Bed linen and towels for villas run as a proper household, not just a weekend stay
• Everyday clothes ironed and folded, ready to put straight into a wardrobe
• Work and video-call outfits for people working remotely from a Babakan villa
• Delicates and anything hand-wash-only, handled separately from a standard load

Why Babakan regulars stay with TRAST

Long-stay households in Babakan tend to settle into one laundry service and stick with it, because starting over with a new one every time something goes wrong is its own kind of stress. TRAST keeps each household's laundry separate, inspects every item before washing, and guarantees stain removal: if something does not come out, that item is done again free.

Booking and paying for a Babakan pickup

There is no app and no prepayment, you pay once the bag is back and you have had a chance to check it. TRAST has been running a route through this side of Canggu since the business started more than three and a half years ago, and every household's order is kept fully separate through washing, drying and folding, nothing from one villa ends up in another villa's bag. We use organic products only, no chlorine, no phosphates, no optical brighteners and no fragrance, so bedding and children's clothes come back the same, not stiffer or duller after each wash. If your weekly pickup day needs to move, or you need an extra collection for visiting guests, a message in the same WhatsApp thread is enough.
